The Triangle’s two newest publicly traded companies – PRA Health Sciences and INC Research – are on the verge of issuing their first quarterly results since their successful initial public offerings.
First up is PRA, which is scheduled to release its fourth-quarter earnings after the markets close on Wednesday. Company executives will follow up with a discussion about the results with a conference call and webcast scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday.
INC Research intends to release its fourth-quarter results the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 24, prior to a 9 a.m. conference call and webcast to discuss the results.
Both PRA and INC are Raleigh-based contract research organizations, or CROs, that went public in November. CROs help pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies conduct clinical trials of experimental drugs and analyze the results.
PRA and INC also rank among the world’s largest CROs. The Triangle has more CRO companies and CRO workers than anywhere else.
