One of the most active luxury homebuilders in the Triangle is breaking ground on a residential development in Apex.
Toll Brothers at Weddington will be comprised of 90 single-family houses once it opens later this summer. The project is near the intersection of White Oak Church Road and Green Level West Road.
Toll Brothers, based in Pennsylvania, is one of the nation's largest luxury home builders. In the Triangle, it has built The Cottages Collection at Brier Creek, Hasentree, Regency at White Oak Creek, Enclave at White Oak Creek, The Hills at Southpoint and The Pines at Wake Crossing.
Toll Brothers at Weddington is promoting the development's "unparalleled amenities," including design elements, forested setting, easy access for commuters, proximity to Wake County schools, a pavilion, an outdoor pool, a playground and gathering areas.
A spokesman for the company said Monday that home designs haven't been finalized yet, and so price ranges and the size of the houses haven't been determined.
One of the local Toll Brothers projects, Hasentree, located in Wake Forest, presents itself as a resort community, with a golf course and other active pursuits. Its houses range from $397,995 to more than $1 million with 1,820 to more than 5,000 square feet.
Another Toll Brothers project in Apex, called Enclave at White Oak Creek, has houses ranging from $568,995 to more than $668,995, and 3,000 to over 4,200 square feet.
"We’re excited to break ground on Toll Brothers at Weddington and expand our presence in the Apex area," David Kelly, North Carolina division president said in a news release. “Our newest community will offer potential homeowners a little bit of everything."
