Kroger deals, Aug. 13-19

Look for good deals at Kroger this week on Eggo waffles, Peter Pan peanut butter, Hot Pockets, Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s frozen entrees, Cascadian Farm organic cereal, GM cereals, Smithfield bacon and Hillshire Farm lunch meat.

Without coupons, pick up nice buys on strawberries, organic grapes, organic salads and several store-brand products.

And, good news, the 4X fuel points bonus is back on the purchase of gift cards and there’s a Friday digital coupon freebie on tap.

Keep reading for all of this week's top deals at Triangle-area Kroger stores.

This week's coupon match-ups and promotion deals:

Digital Friday freebie: Download a digital coupon on Friday, Aug. 15, for a free Yoplait yogurt cup. (6 oz. Original or Light or 4 oz. Whip) The coupon is valid through Aug. 30 but you must download it on Aug. 15.

4X fuel points promotion on gift cards: Through Sept. 2, you’ll earn quadruple fuel points on the purchase of gift cards to major retailers at Kroger. Example: Purchase a $100 gift card to Target and you’ll receive 400 fuel points, which is enough to shave 40 cents off per gallon of gasoline at a Kroger gas station. This is one of my favorite promotions and it’s perfect timing for back-to-school shopping. Read this post about how I maximized my Kroger fuel points to save on gasoline.
