If you happen to live near the new Aldi store opening in Garner on Thursday, check your stack of grocery circulars in today’s N&O to see if you were lucky enough to receive a specially zoned Aldi ad.
On the back page is a coupon for $5 off a $30 purchase at the new store, located at 750 Timber Dr.
As a rule, Aldi stores don’t accept coupons -- it’s part of the German-based chain’s no-nonsense business model. But on rare ocassions, such as the opening of a new store, the company will issue its own coupon as a way of drawing in customers.
This particular coupon is valid through Jan. 27 at the new store location.
