SavingStar.com is offering up another freebie this weekend -- a 3 oz. pouch of Starkist Tuna Salad.

Head over to SavingStar.com to download the digital coupon that will give you 100 percent cash back on the price, then purchase the tuna salad at one of the supermarkets or drugstores you have linked to SavingStar through your loyalty cards.

You have until Thursday, April 17, to get your freebie.

If you’re not familiar with SavingStar, I highly recommend signing up at SavingStar.com, which allows you to earn cash back when you shop at several participating stores in the Triangle. It takes only a few minutes to register your store loyalty card numbers. Once you’ve done that, it only takes a few seconds each week to select the offers you wish to use.

At the store register, SavingStar coupons are NOT automatically deducted from your grocery order. Instead, the savings accrue in your SavingStar account. Once you've saved at least $5, you select how you want to be paid. Right now, I’ve got $30.52 in my account.

In the Triangle, CVS, Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Kroger, Lowes Foods and Rite Aid all participate in SavingStar.

The SavingStar coupons may only be used once.
