It's May 1, which means the new printable and digital coupon offers are starting to roll in.
Over the next few days, check your favorite printable coupon sites for new coupons. Most sites roll out new coupons over the first few days of each new month. So if you don't see any new coupons you like today, I recommend checking in each day this week.
Here are some of my favorite sites to print coupons:
*The News & Observer's Find N Save coupon page, which is powered by Coupons.com
Digital Access for only $0.99
For the most comprehensive local coverage, subscribe today.
*CommonKindness.com. This site is great for folks looking for coupons on healthier products.
*MamboSprouts.com. Another good site of healthy product coupons.
Second, check to see if you have any mail-in rebates that need to be mailed in. Most rebates give you a two-week window to mail in the form once the offer has expired.
And finally, be sure to check in at the online sites you use, such as SavingStar, Checkout 51, Ibotta and Recyclebank.
The first of the month is also a good time to do a few coupon chores. Take a little time this week to purge your coupon organizer of all the April coupons that are now expired.
