Statistically speaking: Analysis highlights business gender gaps

An Experian analysis looking at the payment and credit management behaviors of male and female business owners shows that the average business credit score for a male-owned business was 35, compared to 34 for a female-owned business. In addition:

24% of male-owned businesses have sales that exceed $500,000.

14.5% of women-owned businesses see sales of that size.

21.2% percent of male business owners have a personal income of $125,000 or more.

17.4% percent of female business owners have an income of that size.
