The Small Business and Technology Development Center at N.C. State University has been named city/state Partner of the Year by the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
The center, which serves as the business and technology extension service of the University of North Carolina, is administered by N.C. State and operated in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The Export-Import Bank works with large and small companies to ensure they have access to the financing and tools needed to explore export opportunities.
Since 1997, the SBTDC’s International Business Development program has partnered with the Export-Import Bank to help small businesses to achieve better export results.
The center will be recogized at the Export-Import’s annual conference in Washington D.C., on Thursday.
