Man missing from Durham group home

Authorities issued a Silver Alert this morning for a cognitively impaired man missing from a group home on N.C. 55 in Durham.

Barry Dwaine Parrish, 46, was last seen at the group home at 2303 N.C. 55. He is six feet, two inches tall, weighs 210 pounds and has shoulder-length blond hair and blue eyes. He has a scar on his left arm.

Parrish was wearing a short-sleeved, red and white shirt, blue jeans and black and white Converse tennis shoes. He was on foot and possibly headed to the ASAP Center in downtown Durham.

Anyone with information about Parrish's whereabouts is asked to Investigator Cristaldi at the Durham Police Department at (919) 560-4450, extension 255.
