Firefighters from several departments Monday responded to a large fire at the ETC Henderson Inc. factory in Henderson, according to the Henderson Fire Department.
A fire department representative said the initial call came in at about 9:30 a.m. and as of 11:30 a.m. “all units are still on the scene.”
He would not comment on whether there were any injuries.
ETC makes janitorial supplies such as mops and brooms. The Henderson factory is at 601 Wakefield Ave. near Interstate 85 and downtown Henderson.
It’s the second time ETC Henderson has been destroyed by fire. In December 2003, fire swept through the plant on a Monday afternoon, forcing the evacuation of nearby residents.
