Wake Forest Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Sunday morning at a Walgreens.
A male suspect entered the Walgreens at 3601 Rogers Road Sunday morning displaying a fire arm and demanding money, Wake Forest Police said.
Police responded to the robbery call around 7:20 a.m.
The clerk at the store gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.
No one was injured during the interaction and the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction, according to police.
The suspect is described as between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with a beard and speaks with a Middle Eastern accent.
The suspect wore an olive green hooded sweatshirt with a red design on the front, his sneakers were white and black and he wore a cloth that partially covered is lower face.
No additional information was immediately available.
