A man and woman face drug-trafficking charges after the seizure Thursday night of what Wake County sheriff’s deputies said was more than 18 pounds of pot at the Old Stage Road house they share.
Brittney Nicole Summers, 20, and Blake Evan Beliveau, 24, were arrested at the house at 11316 Old Stage Road about 9:20 p.m., according to Wake County records.
Arrest warrants accused each of the pair of trafficking in marijuana, maintaining the house as a place people could use marijuana, felony marijuana possession, conspiring with each other to traffic in pot and having scales, packaging materials and packages of marijuana seeds.
The warrants said Summers and Beliveau had approximately 8,412.5 grams of marijuana, which is about 18.55 pounds.
