Morrisville Fire Department, and Sparky, have fire safety day

Ten Morrisville firefighters, three trucks and Sparky the Dog went to Cedar Fork Elementary School Tuesday, Feb. 3, for an inaugural fire safety event with 160-second-graders. An important part of the lesson was demonstrating the firefighters’ turnout gear so the kids would know what real firefighters look and sound like with all their gear on. They also learned about smoke alarms and what to do in case of an emergency.
