• A young woman’s iPhone made a mysterious journey after she left it on the counter of a local J.C. Penney May 9. Hours after the 20-year-old reported the phone missing, an unrelated man told police that he had found the iPhone beside the road at an Interstate 40 ramp. Police reports indicated no damage or unauthorized calls on the phone; an investigation is underway.
