Holiday parade favorites, such as high school bands, dance groups and Santa Claus, took over downtown Cary Saturday, Dec. 12, for the 36th annual Christmas Parade hosted by the Cary Jaycees. The parade, on a new route, featured more than 100 floats, cars and groups that traveled along a stretch of Chatham Street. This year’s grand marshal is new Cary Police Chief Tony Godwin.
