The second annual Fuquay-Varina Out of the Darkness Community Walk will be from 2-4 p.m. starting at South Park, 900 S. Main St. Registration the day of the walk begins at 1 p.m. The walk will raise money for the North Carolina chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Cary residents are invited to participate in a community clean-up in shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in neighborhoods, parks and public spaces. Cary will provide supplies like bags, gloves and safety vests.
