Kwanzaa

The Ujima Group and the town of Cary will host the 20th Kwanzaa Celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave. Doors open at 11 a.m. for the vendor marketplace and Children’s Village. The program and performance by Chuck Davis and the African-American Dance Ensemble begins at 3 p.m.

New Year Celebration

The Cary Gallery of Artists’ New Year Celebration with guest artist Betty Di Bartolomeo will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, at 200 S. Academy St., Cary.

Three Kings Day Parade

The Three Kings Day Parade will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, in downtown Cary. Organizers are accepting applications through Dec. 22 from businesses, non-profit organizations and cultural groups to walk in the parade. Go to www.3kdayparade.eventbrite.com or email 3kingsdayparade@gmail.com.
