En Plein Air Paint-Off

Fuquay-Varina’s fourth annual En Plein Air Paint-Off’s organizers are accepting applications from artists through Friday, March 13, for the paint-off on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18. Call for artists

The Cary Gallery of Artists will accept entries for the seventh annual “Small Treasures” juried exhibit through Friday, March 6. The exhibit will be displayed from Thursday, March 26, through Saturday, April 18. The first place award is $250, second place is $150 and third place is $100. Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition

Cary Visual Art will accept entries for the annual Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition through Friday, March 20. Sculptures will be on display from July 2015 through June 2016.

Applicants must be 18 or older and live in the U.S. There is a $35 application fee for every two sculptures submitted; the $35 fee also applies to entry of a single sculpture. For details, go to caryvisualart.org.
