Courtney Marie Shaver and Nicholas John Stone were married in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Bald head Club on Bald head Island.
The bride is the daughter of Colonel Francis and Cynthia DeLuca of Cary and Sammy and Mary Shaver of Chapel Hill. She is the granddaughter of Juanita Lesley and the late Pat Lesley of Cary, and Doris Shaver and the late Berry Shaver of Salisbury.
The groom is the son of Brian and Sharon Stone of Essix, Ct. and grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Stone and Mr. and Mrs Philip Crocker.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Maids of honor were Aubrey Schierbeck of Asheville and Sara Martin of Chicago. Bridemaids were Lesley Morrison, cousin of the bride, of Alexandria, VA, Susan Stone, sister of the groom, of Essix, Ct., stepsisters, of the bride, Bryn DeLuca, of Raleigh, and Erin Harrington, of Chapel Hill. Bestmen were Ryan Stone, brother of the groom, of Chapel Hill, and Breton Roussel, of New Jersey. Groomsmen were Aaron Ribechinsky, Steven Reedich and Jesse Friendlich of Ct.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Katerine and Will Johnson of Wilmington.
The bride is a graduate of UNC Wilmington with a degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
She is co-owner of Kickstand Events, a wedding and event planning company in Wilmington.
The groom is a graduate of UNC Wilmington with degree in Accounting and Spanish. He is employed by Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Senior Account.
Bridal luncheon was given by the bride's mother, Cynthia DeLuca, and reception was given by the groom's parents, Brian and Sharon Stone.
Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia the couple will reside in Wilmington.
