Monarchs in Motion

St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church of Apex will host its seventh annual Monarchs in Motion 5K Run and Family Fitness Walk at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at 625 Magdala Place. Yard Sale and More

The Abiding Presence Lutheran Church Yard Sale and More will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at 7300 Sunset Lake Road, Fuquay-Varina. Brown Bag Ministry

The Brown Bag Ministry, which feeds more than 1,400 people a week, is looking for middle- and high school-age volunteers. The group meets at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Apex about 9 a.m. Saturdays. Volunteers prepare bagged meals and hand them out in Raleigh. The group usually finishes by 1 p.m. Details:
