Scholar in Residence program

Food Pantry Thanksgiving meal distribution

White Plains United Methodist Church will distribute bags of Thanksgiving food from 3-6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at the church’s Christian Life Center, 313 SE Maynard Road, Cary. 919-467-9394.

Unified Worship Service

White Plains United Methodist Church’s Unified Worship Service for the beginning of Advent will be at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, at 313 SE Maynard Road, Cary. A lunch provided by the church’s Appalachia Service Project team follows the service.

Christmas Dinner Theater

Sunrise United Methodist Church’s Christmas Dinner Theater is at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, and 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6. Tickets for dinner and the show cost $15. All proceeds will benefit a building fund and a contribution to Western Wake Crisis Ministry. The church is at 5420 Sunset Lake Road, Holly Springs. European Christmas Market

The eighth annual St. Nicholas European Christmas Market will be 7-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Saints Cyril and Methodius Byzantine Catholic Church, 2510 Piney Plains Road, Cary. There will be caroling and a visit from St. Nicholas on Friday, and lunch and live music on Saturday.

Breakfast with Santa

Breakfast with Santa for kids with breakfast, crafts, devotion and a mission project at Sunrise United Methodist Church is 8:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at 5420 Sunset Lake Road, Holly Springs.

Surviving the Holidays

Soul Yoga

Gentle stretching and yoga sessions will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays at Westwood Baptist Church, 200 Westhigh St., Cary. Sessions are open to the public for $5. Bring a mat.

Regeneration Addiction Support Group

Family support ministry meeting
