Christmas on Salem Street in downtown Apex starts with caroling at 5 p.m. at the Union Depot, and the official lighting of the town’s Christmas tree. Sleigh, carriage and train rides are at 6 p.m. Tickets for carriage rides are $7 and will be sold starting at 4 p.m. at the corner of North Salem and Saunders streets.
