Mary Kathleen McCarthy Foulke, 68, of Cary, died Sunday afternoon, September 28, 2014.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6 until 8 pm at Brown-Wynne funeral Home in Cary followed by a funeral mass Thursday morning at 11 am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary. She will be buried alongside her family in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Mary Kay Foulke to either Greenwood Forest Children’s Center at 110 SE Maynard Rd. Cary, NC 27511 or the SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Ln. Raleigh, NC 27603.
Born and raised amongst a tight knit Irish clan in upstate New York, Mary Kay is the daughter of Raymond and Doris McCarthy and the sister of John McCarthy.

She was a 1968 graduate of the University of Dayton. She has taught preschool at Greenwood Forest Children’s Center for 30 years and had been anticipating returning for the new school year.
Mary Kay is survived by her husband of 46 years Kenneth Foulke and her daughter Meghan Brown, both of Cary, her nieces Molly McCarthy, Kathleen Kowalski, Bridget Corder, nephews Kevin McCarthy and Michael McCarthy, of Rochester, New York, and Jason Foulke of Brooklyn, New York.
