Lorraine G. Lunsford, 47, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, July 6, 2012.
Lorraine was a special and talented barista at Glaxo Wellcome for many years. She always started her client’s day off with friendly service, a smile and good conversation. She often swapped stories of NASCAR, coupon savings and her cats. She was the epitome of efficiency and her amazing recall of “favorite beverages fixed just the right way” endeared her to most of her clients. Her past customers and many, many good friends will greatly miss her.
Lorraine loved her family and was a generous friend to many. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Scott Lunsford of Cary, her mother Marjorie Wheatley of Raleigh, two sisters; Dr. Linda Wheatley (Jeff Whitlock) of Maumee, OH and Lori Wheatley (Dr. Brian Sadler)of Cary and nephew, Dylan Wheatley of Cary.
Lorraine and her husband are recent members of Hope Community Church in Cary. It was a place where Lorraine felt very welcomed and loved. They both enjoyed volunteering and sharing in the warm fellowship of the church’s members
