Cary Council shows foresight
Regarding the Feb. 4 Cary News story “Cary delays townhomes, citing density,” I’d like to commend the Cary Town Council for having the foresight to do what’s best for Cary’s future. They are in a difficult position, trying to balance the rights of landowners with the need to sustain quality of life for existing and future residents.
Too many times, developments have been pushed through, even when they have gone against the town’s own written guidelines (like no more than 100 homes on a tract with a single entrance/exit). It’s great to see them stand up for common sense.
