Kiwanis cook up pancakes

The Tobaccoland Kiwanis Club of Durham and the Friendly City Kiwanis Club met up before the 2014 Kiwanis Pancake Jubilee Nov. 3 for a luncheon at the Downtown Durham Armory. Following the meal, club members continued the setup for the Jubilee, which started at 4 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the children and youth of Durham.

Peter Guild, of Merrill Lynch LKG Group in Durham, purchased pancakes and sausage meals to students enrolled in the Emily K Pioneer Scholars program during the Pancake Jubilee.
