CALL FOR ARTISTS: The FedEx Global Education Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is accepting artists’ proposals of work to display.

LAST FRIDAYS ART WALK: The Hillsborough Arts Council’s Last Fridays Art Walk will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30.

LINE DANCE JAM: Learn line dances with Demeca of Embrace Dance Company from 7:30-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at the Carrboro Century Center, 100 N. Greensboro St. Admission costs $3.

FIRST SUNDAY TRIANGLE BLUES SOCIETY: The First Sunday Triangle Blues Society Open Jam will be from 7-10 p.m. the first Sunday of the month at The Blue Note Grill, 4125 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd.

REEL ISRAEL: Kehillah Synagogue will screen documentaries. “Tale of Nicolai & the Law of Return” will be from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at 1200 Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill. “The Green Prince” will be from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21.

CAROLINA JAZZ FESTIVAL: The 38th annual festival will be from Wednesday, Feb. 18, through Saturday, Feb. 21.
