Transit bus roadeo
Chapel Hill Transit will compete in the transit bus roadeo from 8 a.m. to noon at the Chapel Hill Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility, 6900 Millhouse Road, Chapel Hill. Capital Area Transit, Cary Transit, Greensboro Transit Authority and Triangle Transit bus drivers will also compete. Winners in this regional competition will go on to the Statewide Bus Roadeo in April in Charlotte. chtransit.org.

Parent and student training
A free training program for parents and students in Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the United Church of Chapel Hill, 1321 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The Push Out Prevention Project of Advocates for Children’s Services offers this program to teach parents and students to advocate for themselves and learn about the school-to-prison pipeline.
