Cure HHT 5K Walk/Run

The second annual Cure HHT 5K Walk/Run will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at Southern Community Park, 1000 Dogwood Acres Drive, Chapel Hill. The walk and run will raise money for research for a cure for hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. Registration costs $25.

Prison Books Collective

A book sale to benefit Prison Books Collective will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at 621 Hillsborough Road, Carrboro. Book prices are on a sliding scale with a $1 minimum. Debit and credit cards are accepted.

CRUSH Colorectal Cancer 5K Run/Walk

The Duke Multidisciplinary Gastrointestinal Cancers Program’s second annual CRUSH Colorectal Cancer 5K Run/Walk starts with check-in at 8 a.m. and timed runners starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at C.M. Herndon Park, 511 Scott King Road, Durham.

Nourish International

Nourish International’s Biannual Hunger Luncheon will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, at the Rizzo Conference Center, 150 Dubose House Lane, Chapel Hill. Tickets cost $120 per couple or $65 per individual.

Cardinal Directions Beer Festival

The Cardinal Directions Beer Festival will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at 106 S. Greensboro St., Carrboro. Tickets cost $12 and $2 out of each ticket price will be donated to Farmer Foodshare.

Off the Wall

FRANK Gallery’s Off the Wall fundraiser will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at 109 E. Franklin St., Chapel Hill. Artists have donated 55 works of art to be sold. Art tickets cost $450, companion tickets to accompany the holder of an art ticket cost $50 and patron tickets, which admit two people to the gala, cost $155.

Lincoln Community Health Center Foundation

The Lincoln Community Health Center Foundation’s third annual Legacy Luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club, 3001 Cameron Blvd., Durham. Tickets cost $45. 919-956-4003.

Blues & Brews Festival

The Blues & Brews Festival will raise money for Durham area charities and The Exchange Family Center of Durham will be from 4-9 p.m. Saturday, May 30, in Durham Central Park, 501 Foster St. Tickets cost $40.
