Chatham County Republican Party
The Chatham County Republican Party 2015 Annual Convention will begin with registration from 6-6:30 p.m., precinct meetings from 6:30-7 p.m. and the county convention from 7-9 p.m. at Horton Middle School, 79 Horton St., Pittsboro. The suggested donation as a registration fee is $10.
General Meditation Class

Chess players are invited to the Orange County Main Library from 6-7 p.m. Thursdays on the second floor of the library at 137 W. Margaret Lane, Hillsborough. If you plan to time games, bring your own clock or timer. Ages 10 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

A Shared Learning Association lecture on “Islamophobia in America and Other Related Topics” by Dr. Carl Ernest will be at 11 a.m. at the Celebration Assembly of God Church, 114 Weaver Dairy Road, Chapel Hill. The lecture is free and open to anyone.
Native Leaders Symposium

Easter egg hunt
Chapel Hill’s Easter egg hunt for ages 2-10 will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at River Park, 106 E. Margaret Lane, Hillsborough. There will be crafts, games, prizes, inflatables and the Egg Hunt Bunny. The rain date for the egg hunt is 2-4 p.m. Sunday. townofchapelhill.org.
