Candace Cox Bonus was born in Richmond, Indiana and died at home in Siler City, North Carolina, surrounded by family. Candace is survived by her husband of 59 years, Thaddeus Marion Bonus. She and Ted were long-time residents of Fearrington Village, Chatham County, North Carolina. Candace was predeceased by her parents, Thelma Marcelene and Dail W. Cox. Candace is also survived by her sister Catherine C. Howard, her daughters Ellen M. Bonus (Ernest B. Hood), Emily B. Long (Bryan B. Baylor), and Elizabeth B. Blankenship, her son Andrew C. Bonus (Annamarie), her grandchildren Benjamin E. Zeigler, Lillian M. Zeigler, Charles H. Schroeder, Jeffrey A. Bonus, James A. Bonus, and Emerson M. Baylor, and her great-grandson Malik Y. Mouabid. Candace is also survived by extended family including nieces and step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents Candace was also predeceased by her sister, Carol Cox Spackman, and son-in-law James F.
