The Championships will be played July 31 through Aug. 7.

These athletes, who all played on East Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Carolina Friends High School teams, were invited to tryout with other youth from across the nation. These five local athletes each won a spot on their team rosters from a field of 100 trying out for each team.

The WJUCs are Ultimate’s version of the Junior Olympics, and one step closer to Ultimate becoming an Olympic sport in 2024 (which USA Ultimate-the national governing body-is working towards).
