Four Oaks Bank makes appointments
Four Oaks Bank has promoted Deanna Hart to senior vice president and named Earl Wood Lee to its advisory board in Four Oaks.
Hart joined the bank in 2003 as a staff auditor. She was promoted to senior auditor in 2005 and director of internal audit in 2010.
A Clayton native, Hart holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Carolina University. She is a 2010 graduate of the N.C. School of Banking. Also, she is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and serves on the board of the Banker’s Affinity Group.

Hart and her husband, Jim, reside in Garner with sons Chase and Davis.
Lee is a graduate of South Johnston High School and N.C. State University, where he earned an associate’s in livestock management. He is a partner in Harold W. Lee and Sons and Lee Brothers Farms. Also, he is a manager with Harold W. Lee Swine and Lee Brothers Custom Works.
Since 1987, Lee has been a volunteer firefighter with the Strickland’s Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department. He serves on the board of trustees of Antioch United Methodist Church.

Lee and his wife, Elaine, reside in Four Oaks. They have three grown children: Daniel, Candace and Eric.
The Chamber Women’s Business Network will hold “Taste of Tuscany,” a summer social, from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, in Room 1404 of the Johnston Medical Mall on North Bright Leaf Boulevard in Smithfield. The cost is $12 per person and includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, lemonade and a raffle.
Ribbon-cutting in Smithfield
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, July 25, at Quality 1st Automotive, 953 N. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield. The shop offers auto maintenance and custom work.
