New consultant joins First Federal

Catherine Manuel, a Certified Retirement Plan Consultant, has joined Financial Services Division at First Federal Bank and Capital Investment Companies. Manuel will assist clients in planning to meet their financial goals and objectives.

Manuel, who has bachelor’s degree in business administration from High Point University is a registered representative with Capital Investment Group and has her series 6, 7, 63, 65 and Life and Health insurance licenses. Manuel is also a Certified Mutual Fund Consultant and a Certified Retirement Plan Consultant. Her office is at 200 East Cumberland St., Dunn.

Manuel has two adult daughters and three granddaughters.

Johnson joins Triangle Insurance

Johnston County native Brian Johnson is now the Director of Life Insurance and Retirement at Triangle Insurance & Benefits, Inc.

Johnson, who has 17 years experience in insurance and financial planning, will work in both the Smithfield and Clayton Triangle locations and focus on the insurance needs of area families and businesses.

Johnson began his working in the insurance industry in 1995 and has received intensive training in wealth management, insurance concepts and application, and annuities.

Johnson will specialize in helping families in the areas of wealth preservation, asset accumulation and distribution. He will also serve business clients in the areas of buy/sell agreements, retirement programs and key person insurance.

He and his wife April Johnson, have two children.
