White Oak Baptist Church will hold its annual bazaar Friday, Nov. 21, at the Archer Lodge Community Center, 14009 Buffalo Road. The event will start at 6 p.m. soups, sandwiches, hot dogs and desserts for sale until 7:30 p.m. Crafts and baked goods will be for sale from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and a silent auction will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The church will award door prizes throughout the evening. Turkey shoots are scheduled from 5 to 10 p.m. Nov. 15 and 22 at Elizabeth United Methodist Church, 4269 Cleveland Road, Smithfield. The cost is $4 per shot, or six shots for $20, for a chance to win a turkey. The women of the church will sell chili, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, baked goods, coffee, hot chocolate and cold drinks.
