High School: Clayton

Club Team: N.C. Volleyball Academy

Height: 5-foot-6

Why Peace? “I have worked with the coaches there before during club ball. I like them very much and I like their style. It is a small school with small class size, which I prefer for more one-on-one attention from the professors. It is close to home and I will be able to get lots of support from my family.”

Major: Business Management

Notable: Kennedey helped the Comets reach the playoffs each of the past two seasons and helped Clayton win the Greater Neuse River 4A Conference championship as a junior. One of her most memorable moments at Clayton was handing Garner its first conference loss in five years and winning that conference championship. Kennedey has similar championship aspirations for the Pacers. “Peace is a very competitive school and I am hoping we can get to the NCAAs while I am there,” she said. She wants volleyball to be a lifestyle. Her goal is to own her own volleyball gym and coach the sport.
