Corinth Holders High School announced its team award winners for a stellar fall campaign recently. The Pirates handed out team awards in seven sports.
The football team, which won its first playoff game, had seven award winners: Cole Sakowski (Offensive Back Award), Dymon Walker (Offensive Receiver Award), Tony Kirkwood (Offensive Receiver Award), Kane Little (Defensive Back Award), Elliott Lindley (Defensive Linebacker Award), David Pierson (Defensive Linebacker Award) and Jared Johnson (Offensive Lineman Award).
The boys soccer team was unbeaten during the regular season and won the Two Rivers 3A Conference title. Chason Kast and Christian Green shared Most Valuable Defensive Player award honors. Grant Austin was the Most Valuable Offensive Player.
Zach Blinson was the Most Improved soccer player. Coach’s Awards went to Aaron Lopez and Dane Martin.
Jamie Turner was the volleyball team MVP, while Kelsie Hocutt picked up the Coach’s Award. Kaylee Christensen received the Most Improved award.
Lana Wang won the girls golf Most Improved award.
In girls tennis, Megan Dyer was named the Most Outstanding Player, Ashley Stufano picked up the Most Improved award and Jordan Heiner received the Coach’s Award.
The cross country team named Austin Carroll and Kayla Ste. Marie as its Most Valuable Runners. Most Improved runner awards went to both Patrick Myers and Kayla Alznauer. The Pirate Awards were handed out to Bailey Blackwell and Cameron Rutherford.
