Cleveland High School announced its fall sports team award winners recently.
The Rams presented boys soccer team honors to three players. Lawson Lamm was named the Most Valuable Player for the team. Dylan Bradford received the Coach’s Award and Josue Perez picked up the Most Improved player award.
In girls cross country, Erika Michael earned the Coach’s Award and Kendra Evach was the Most Improved runner. Jessica Collins received team MVP honors.
On the boys cross country side, Gabe Dershem was the MVP, Spencer May received the Most Improved runner award and Steven May was the Coach’s Award winner.
Tabby Herzig was the MVP of the girls golf team; Megan Long picked up Most Improved honors.
Victoria Dixon, a state singles tournament qualifier, was the MVP of the girls tennis team. Kayla Smith was named Most Improved and Bailee Holleman took home the Coach’s Award.
The football team handed out seven individual awards, a sign of another successful season.
Aaron Farmer was the Offensive MVP, while Clemson University signee Sterling Johnson was the Defensive MVP. Greg Tyler was the Best Skill Player and Zack Jacobs was the Best Offensive Lineman.
On defense, Drew Caldwell received the Defense Box award; Clay Brown was the Defensive Skill award winner.
Daquan Goodwin rounded out the football award winners with the Coach’s Award.
