The Herald-Sun newspaper is moving to a new location near Northgate Mall.
The company said it has signed a lease for space at 1530 N. Gregson St., a building it will share with a bank branch.
The Herald-Sun’s printing was moved from the newspaper’s 110,000-square-foot plant off Pickett Road to High Point in August. It is printed on a new press there along with several other North Carolina papers owned by the Herald-Sun’s parent company, Paxton Media of Paducah, Ky.
According to the Herald-Sun, it has signed a lease for more than five years with Northgate Mall, which owns the building where it will occupy the second and part of the third floor.

The Durham Herald Co. moved from its longtime home at Market and Chapel Hill streets downtown in 1990, when it still published two papers: The Durham Morning Herald and afternoon Durham Sun. The two were merged as the Herald-Sun in January 1991.
