Painted Chair & More Auction

The 13th annual Painted Chair & More Auction is 5-9 p.m. at the Levin Jewish Community Center, 1937 W. Cornwallis Road. The auction raises money for Independent Animal Rescue’s foster care, adoption and more programs. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. animalrescue.net.

The Family Advocacy Network at Mental Health America of the Triangle offers classes in Common Sense Parenting, developed by Boys Town. Registration and training materials are free. Childcare is not provided for the classes.
