On Thursday, May 1, the United Christian Campus Ministry of N.C. Central University and BlessDurham are co-sponsoring the annual National Day of Prayer gathering in Durham.
National Day of Prayer is a day set aside by Congress to acknowledge that we are one nation under God and to seek God’s blessing for our nation.
People of faith are encouraged to gather at the Outdoor Amphitheater at N.C. Central University from noon to 1 p.m. for corporate prayer, followed by a complimentary light lunch for those whose schedule allows. Free parking is provided in the Student Union parking lot at the corner of Fayetteville and Nelson streets. Visit BlessDurham.org for a map and more information.
This is a free event and everyone is invited to participate.
