All National Honor Choir

Corinth Holders High School students Sierra Cook and Lacey Tingle have been selected as members of the 2014 All National Honor Choir. Cook and Tingle are two of only six students from N.C. selected to join the event, which will take place Oct. 25-29 in Nashville, Tenn.

Career Fair

Wendell Middle School will hold a career fair from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at 3409 N.C. 97, Wendell. WMS is seeking people with experience in the fields of trades/craftsmanship, medical, technology, science, hospitality, arts and communication to host stations and talk about their jobs. Clothes Closet

Wendell Middle’s Student Services office is seeking donations for its Clothes Closet. Gym shorts and sweat pants of all sizes are requested, but any clothes will be accepted; anything for students to change into when they have a wardrobe malfunction or the attire does not meet dress code.
