WakeUP Wake County will host a discussion about growth challenges in Wake County from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at the Knightdale Town Hall, 950 Steeple Square Court.
The discussion is the first in a series of community discussions focusing on the impact rapid growth has had upon county schools, water quality and transportation. Following a brief presentation, the floor will be opened for a conversation about what is needed to help manage growth. The Jan. 22 session will focus especially on eastern Wake County.
Knightdale Mayor Russell Killen and Wake County Commissioner Sig Hutchinson will join WakeUP Wake County for the discussion.
