Crime Notes: Jan. 8-14

Knightdale arrests

•  Jan. 10, 2:15 a.m., Dale Lee Motzno, 53, of 2107 Ferdinand Drive, Knightdale was charged with driving while impaired.



•  Jan. 12, 1:23 a.m., Christopher Michael Morris, 36, of 6402 Crowned Drive, Zebulon was charged with driving while impaired.



•  Jan. 12, 12:47 p.m., Francisca Raquel Escobar-Martinez, 33, of 3505 Kernstown Drive, Raleigh was charged with misdemeanor larceny, attempting to steal $89.99 in computer software from Best Buy.



Knightdale incidents

•  Jan. 9, 12:50 p.m., arson was reported at the 2000 block of Village Square Circle. The case was unfounded.



•  Jan. 9, 1:30 p.m., a shoplifting incident was reported at the Walmart on Knightdale Boulevard. Someone attempted to steal $35.76 worth of Gerber baby cereal, bras, socks and office supplies. The case was listed as closed.



•  Jan. 9, 2:10 p.m., someone reported a weapons possession at Knightdale High School. The case was listed as closed.



•  Jan. 9, 3:10 p.m., someone reported physical assault at a gas station on Knightdale Boulevard.The case was under investigation.



•  Jan. 9, 5:17 p.m., police investigated a death at the 1700 block of Costmary Lane. No crime was reported and the case was unfounded.



•  Jan. 10, 10:15 a.m., an assault was reported in a parking lot on Knightdale Boulevard. The case is under investigation.



•  Jan. 10, 1:30 p.m., someone stole a $107.49 portrait from a gas station on Knightdale Boulevard. The case is under investigation.



•  Jan. 11, 4:00 p.m., a liquor offense was reported in a parking lot on Knightdale Boulevard. The case was listed as closed.



•  Jan. 11, 10:30 p.m., someone reported a physical assault at the 900 block of Malabys Church Drive. Police are investigating.



•  Jan. 12, 7:06 p.m., an illegal discharge of a weapon was reported in a parking lot on West Cameo Lane. The case was listed as closed.



•  Jan. 14, 3:54 p.m., a shoplifting incident was reported at the Walmart on Knightdale Boulevard. Someone stole an AT&T Tribute Android smartphone, and the case was under investigation.



Wendell arrests

•  Jan. 9, 9:00 a.m., Kendra Leigh Gurley, 25, of 926 Old Zebulon Road, Wendell, was charged with identity theft.



•  Jan. 13, 11:30 a.m., Victor Ernesto Pinto, 38, of 92 Wood Green Drive, Wendell was charged with assault and battery.



•  Jan. 13, 11:30 a.m. William Manuel Pinto, 33, of 92 Wood Green Drive, Wendell was charged with assault and battery.



Wendell incidents

•  Jan. 8, 9:43 p.m., a larceny was reported at the Dollar General on Wendell Boulevard. Someone attempted to steal nearly $70 worth of Hanes t-shirts. The case was under investigation.



•  Jan. 9, 1:24 p.m., someone reported a larceny at the 400 block of Wood Green Drive. Someone broke into a vehicle and stole $473 worth of tools, cash and Suboxone. The case was listed as closed, leads exhausted.



•  Jan. 9, 5:00 p.m., a physical, non-aggravated assault was reported at the 200 block of Jones Market Square, Wendell. The case was listed as closed.



•  Jan. 12, 11:30 a..m, a drug offense was reported at the 400 block of Wendell Boulevard. The case was listed as closed.



•  Jan. 13, 5:40 p.m., a theft of a Snickers bar was reported at a convenience store on Wendell Boulevard. The case was listed as closed, leads exhausted.



Zebulon arrests

•  Jan. 8, 11 a.m., Alicia Rhodes Perry, 39, of 1474 N.C. 39 in Zebulon, was charged with embezzling a controlled substance by an employee of a registrant or practitioner.



•  Jan. 8, 3:50 p.m., Joseph Anthony Manarino, 21, of 7257 Hunt Valley Trail, Wendell, was charged with failure to appear for driving without wearing a seatbelt and driving with a revoked license.



•  Jan. 9, 12:30 a.m., Breon Ryan Rashaun Miles, 22, of 507 N. Whitley St., Zebulon, was charged with being intoxicated and disruptive.



•  Jan. 11, 7:40 p.m., William Justin Lee, 28, of 2221 Shepard School Road, Zebulon, was charged with failure to appear for communicating threats.



•  Jan. 14, 11:45 a.m., Daniel Koumba Mayo, 43, of 1617 Sparrow Hawk Lane, Rocky Mount, was charged with failure to appear for driving with a revoked license.



Zebulon incidents

•  Jan. 8, 2:16 p.m., a larceny was reported in the 1200 block of Spruce Drive. Someone stole a game console valued at $372.74 from a residence. The case is under further investigation.



•  Jan. 8, 2:29 p.m., a fraud was reported at the BP on West Gannon Avenue. Someone obtained money or property by false pretense. Prosecution was declined and the case was closed.



•  Jan. 10, 8:35 a.m., a burglary and larceny from a motor vehicle was reported in the 3000 block of Watsonia Drive. Someone stole a set of car keys valued at $5. The case is under further investigation.



•  Jan. 10, 9:03 a.m., a burglary and larceny from a motor vehicle was reported in the 4000 block of Watsonia Drive. Someone stole a bracelet and keys with a combined value of $176. The case is under further investigation.



•  Jan. 10, 7:30 p.m., a larceny and motor vehicle break-in were reported in the 1200 block of Braemar Highland Drive. Someone stole credit cards, purses and jewelry with a combined value of $511. Police recovered $301 worth of the property. The case is under further investigation.



•  Jan. 10, 8:20, a call for police assistance was placed in the 1200 block of Braemer Highland Drive. Police recovered a bicycle valued at $50 in an open space area. The case was closed.



•  Jan. 11, 6:13 a.m., found property was reported in 600 block of North Wakefield Street. Items found were eye glasses and a hair clip. The case was closed.



•  Jan. 12, 12:15 a.m., a missing person was reported in the 200 block of East North Street. The missing teenager was located and the case was closed.



•  Jan. 12, 6:24 p.m., a larceny was reported at the Walgreens on West Gannon Avenue. Someone stole beer valued at $12.99. The case was closed.
