Crime Notes: June 24

Knightdale arrests

▪  June 14, 3:10 p.m., Dustin Nolen McLaurin, 25, of 322 Serotina Lane, Knightdale, was charged with assault by pointing a gun.

▪  June 14, 8 p.m., Juanisha Lashawnda Hamilton, 19, of 212 Plowlan Court, Knightdale, was charged with failure to appear on charges of marijuana possession.

▪  June 15, 5:05 p.m., Candis Leasha Dunn, 32, of 6036 Inona Place, Raleigh, was charged with felony larceny.

▪  June 17, 5 p.m., Jennifer Ann Brown, 36, of 3735 Crystal Creek Drive, Knightdale, was charged with felony larceny.

Knightdale incidents

▪  June 11, 11:49 p.m., a drug offense was reported in the 6900 block of Knightdale Boulevard.

▪  June 12, 7 p.m., fraud was reported in the Shoppes at Midway Drive. A debit card and $129.12 were stolen.

▪  June 13, 6:03 p.m., shoplifting was reported at the Best Buy on Hinton Oaks Boulevard. Two laptops worth $629.98 were stolen.

▪  June 14, 5:23 p.m., assault was reported in the 300 block of Bellefont Court.

▪  June 15, 5:41 a.m., motor vehicle theft was reported at the intersection of Legacy Oaks Drive and Hodge Road. A white conventional trailer truck worth $17,000 was stolen.

▪  June 15, 12:40 a.m., shoplifting was reported at Target in Shoppes at Midway Drive. Police recovered two child thermometers and three iPad cases all worth $78.99.

▪  June 17, 6:30 a.m., larceny and vandalism were reported in the 800 block of Old Knight Road. Six businesses were affected. Five A/C units were stolen worth $16,000 and seven damaged.

Wendell arrests

▪  June 11, 1:15 a.m., Wendy Sheree Taylor, 36, of 5 Rosewood Court, Wendell, was charged with failure to appear on driving with a revoked license.

▪  June 11, 3 a.m., Deshawn Johnson, 42, of 22 E. Maggie Court, Wendell, was charged with failure to appear on charges of driving with a revoked license.

▪  June 12, 2:30 a.m., Tony Marcell Bridges, 43, of 14 Martin St., Wendell, was charged with communicating threats and injury to personal property.

▪  June 13, 8:50 a.m., David Conrad Brown, 48, of 1004 Eagle Rock Road, Wendell, was charged with failure to appear on drug possession charges.

Wendell incidents

▪  June 14, 5:54 someone reported a found bicycle near the 2800 block of Wendell Boulevard.

▪  June 15, 7:45 a.m., burglary and larceny were reported at Quality Equipment on Three Sisters Road. Two John Deere Gators worth $26,586.15 were stolen.

▪  June 15, 4:29 a.m., a drug offense was reported in the 0 block of West Third Street.

Zebulon arrests

▪  June 14, 7 p.m., Miguel Angel Guerra-Picazo, 27, of Wendell, was charged with hit and run after damaging property and leaving the scene.

▪  June 16, 9 p.m., Katina Maree Smith, 30, of 313 Sycamore St., Zebulon, was charged with simple assault and injury to personal property.

▪  June 17, 3:30 p.m., Rodney Jermaine Batchelor, 30, of 625 N. Privette St., Zebulon, was charged with assault on a female.

▪  June 17, 9:10 p.m., Kelly Dawn McDuffie, 37, of 820 Perry Curtis Road, Zebulon, was charged with failure to appear on worthless check charges in New Hanover County.

▪  June 11, 3:30 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 700 block of Mack Todd Road.

▪  June 11, 6:45 p.m., a larceny was reported in the 100 block of South Arendell Avenue. Someone stole a purse and vehicle parts valued at $100.

▪  June 12, 8:15 p.m., shoplifting was reported at the Dollar General on West Gannon Avenue. Somone stole a purse valued at $12.50.

▪  June 16, 6:30 a.m., a bicycle was found in the 100 block of West Horton Street.

▪  June 16, 9:05 a.m., a bicycle was found in the 600 block of Mack Todd Road.

▪  June 17, 2:43 p.m., shoplifting was reported at the Walmart on East Gannon Avenue. Someone stole merchandise valued at $50.22.
