3 from Knightdale among dozens arrested at Phish concert in Raleigh

Three Knightdale residents were among dozens of people who were arrested on drug- and alcohol-related charges Friday night, Aug. 14, at a concert at the Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh.

State Alcohol Law Enforcement officers made 65 arrests on 115 charges including 25 felonies, the agency stated in a news release. The agency said the special enforcement operation was in response to complaints about illegal drug activity.

Kristofer Richard Barringer, 33, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of for-sale alcoholic beverages without a permit.

Hannah Rose Pruett, 25, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kevin Alexander Barringer, 28, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

The rock group Phish, known for extended improvisational “jams,” was performing Friday night at the amphitheater.
