A man and his wife convicted of stalking in 2012 have been charged with new crimes while they await the outcome of appeals in their original cases.
Michael Stanley Mazur, 52, and Anne Marie Mazur, 49, both of 205 Dulcimer Lane, Zebulon, were arrested Thursday morning following a police investigation into emails the couple sent to the town regarding the victim in the 2012 case and continued incidents in the neighborhood where the couple and the victim live.
Michael Mazur is now charged with felony intimidation of a witness. Annemarie Mazur is charged with felony stalking. Zebulon police Capt . Dennis Brannan said the couple had continued to harass the victim in the case, Wilbert O’Neal, who lives across the street from the Mazurs in the Pineview Estates subdivision.
“Mike Mazur was heckling him every time (O’Neal) came out of the house,” Brannan said.

In March, 2012, the couple was originally charged with racial intimidation following an ongoing dispute between the Mazurs, who are white, and O’Neal, who is black. The charges were reduced to misdemeanor stalking, and the Mazurs were convicted. They have appealed their convictions, but no date has been scheduled to hear those appeals.
The Mazurs are each being held in the Wake County jail under $30,000 secured bond on the new charges.
