Crime Notes: March 3-9

Knightdale arrests

▪  March 4, 12:21 p.m., Shabria Janae Williams, 17, of 1001 Delta River Way, Knightdale, was charged with failure to appear for shoplifting (Johnston).

▪  March 5, 1:45 a.m., Wesley Arthur Steele, 52, of 5408 Swordsman Court, Knightdale, was charged with driving while impaired.

▪  March 8, 12:20 p.m., Christopher Michael McKenzie, 33, of 1435 Hamlet St., Fayetteville, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Knightdale incidents

▪  March 3, 11:48 a.m., attempted kidnapping was reported at Knightdale High School on Bryan Chalk Lane.

▪  March 3, 2:05 p.m., vandalism and assault were reported in the 800 block of North Smithfield Road.

▪  March 3, 4:22 p.m., drug offenses were reported in the 100 block of Poplar Street.

▪  March 3, 7:58 p.m., larceny was reported at CVS on Knightdale Boulevard. Someone stole razor blades valued at $31.99.

▪  March 4, 4:57 p.m., fraud was reported in the 1000 block of Shoppes at Midway Drive. Someone stole a credit card.

▪  March 4, 12:42 p.m., larceny and embezzlement was reported at Weather Master on Village Drive. Someone stole duct work and copper line valued at $435.

▪  March 5, 9:30 p.m., a drug offense was reported in the 100 block of Spinel Lane.

▪  March 9, 11:59 a.m., fraud was reported in the 1100 block of Matthews Glenn Drive. Someone stole $672 cash.

▪  March 9, 11:12 p.m., a drug offense was reported in the 6100 block of Knightdale Boulevard.

Wendell arrests

▪  March 4, 8:40 p.m., Gregory Wayne Walston, 45, of 1528 Morphus Bridge Road, was charged with driving while impaired.

▪  March 5, 2:40 a.m., Tyrone Dewand Shaw, 36, of 3310 Glasson St., Durham, was charged with driving while impaired and failure to appear for second degree trespassing.

▪  March 9, 9 p.m., Eric Enrique Pinto, 38, of 92 Wood Green Drive, Wendell, was charged with simple assault and misdemeanor child abuse.

Wendell incidents

▪  March 6, 2 p.m., larceny was reported in the 400 block of Cook Street. Someone stole $200 cash.

▪  March 8, 11:17 a.m., a call of service was made in the 100 block of East Fourth Street.

Zebulon arrests

▪  March 4, 11 p.m., Ennis Brendon Covington, 22, of 1509 Parks Village Road, Zebulon, was charged with larceny by employee and carrying a concealed gun.

▪  March 5, 5:05 p.m. Joe Leonard Price, 57, of 6224 Mitchell Mill Road, Zebulon, was charged with simple assault.

▪  March 3, 7:30 p.m., vandalism was reported in the 500 block of Shepard School Road. Someone damaged tires.

▪  March 4, 2:24 p.m., larceny was reported at Sally Beauty Supply on East Gannon Avenue. Someone stole three items valued at $145.

▪  March 4, 3 p.m., larceny was reported at Walmart on East Gannon Avenue. Someone stole items valued at $94.33.

▪  March 4, 5 p.m., an assault was reported in the 700 block of Pony Road.

▪  March 4, 7:46 p.m., kidnapping was reported in the 100 block of Waken Street.

▪  March 6, 8:20 a.m., vandalism was reported in the 600 block of Worth Hinton Road. Someone damaged home furnishings.

▪  March 7, 12:55 a.m., vandalism was reported at Walmart on East Gannon Avenue.

▪  March 7, 3:39 p.m., larceny was reported in the 200 block of West Barbee Street. Someone stole a sign valued at $5.

▪  March 8, 11:22 a.m., larceny was reported at Food Lion on Wakelon Street. Someone stole two packs of ribs valued at $40.

▪  March 8, 11:25 a.m., larceny was reported at JR Tire and Service on South Arendell Avenue. Someone stole $33.75.

▪  March 8, 1:20 p.m., an assault was reported in the 200 block of West Oak Street.

▪  March 8, 2:37 p.m., larceny was reported in the 600 block of Worth Hinton Road. Someone stole $30 cash.

▪  March 9, 5:40 a.m., larceny was reported at Sheetz on North Arendell Avenue. Someone stole food valued at $2.79.

▪  March 9, 1:30 p.m., a court violation was reported in the 400 block of West Gannon Avenue.

▪  March 9, 5:10 p.m., larceny was reported at Walmart on East Gannon Avenue. Someone stole computer software valued at $800.
