Those passing by Touching the Heart Deliverance Ministries, a nondenominational church on the corner of West Barbee and South Wakefield streets in Zebulon, have probably noticed this sign showing the church’s support of local law enforcement.

Senior Pastor Joseph Staton said he felt the the Lord wanted him to put the words on the message board on the Fourth of July, 2016.

“I just heard it in my heart to put it up,” Staton said. “I served 13 years in the Marine Corps and know how difficult their job is and I just wanted to let them know we appreciate what they do. They need to see and hear it more often.”

The church has been located at the well-traveled intersection for two and half years.
