Brunswick stew sale

The Dragon Slayers Motorcycle Club will host a Brunswick stew sale Saturday, Nov. 12 beginning at 9:30 a.m. The event will be held at the IGA on Wendell Boulevard. Stew is $7 per quart. Proceeds benefit the Firefighters Assisting Armed Forces Families organization. For more information, email sharbour@nc.rr.com.

Two Green Thumbs Garden Club

The Two Green Thumbs Garden Club of Knightdale meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Monday of each month from September through May at Knightdale Baptist Church, 15 Main St. Visitors are welcome. For details, call 919-217-8076.

Perennial Garden Club

The Perennial Garden Club meets the second Monday of each month at Covenant Presbyertian Church. Social time begins at 6:30 with a program beginning at 7 p.m. The club offers programs regarding gardening, birds and other aspects of nature. Wendell Lions Club

The Wendell Lions Club now meets at 6:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 700 Lions Club Road, Wendell.

Knightdale American Legion Post 529 is now meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Knightdale Chamber of Commerce.
